Bethesda’s highly-anticipated game, Starfield, is set to be released soon, and the company has finally unveiled the global release times for eager fans. In addition, they have also provided the minimum and recommended PC specifications for optimal gameplay.
For players who pre-ordered or purchased premium editions of Starfield, they will have the privilege of early access starting from September 1. However, those with the standard edition will have to wait a few more days until September 6 to join the cosmic adventure.
According to the global release times, players in Eastern and Pacific time zones can begin playing Starfield at 5pm PT/8pm ET on August 31. For those in the United Kingdom, this translates to September 1 at 1am BST. Australians will have to wait until 10am AEST on the same day to dive into the immersive world of Starfield.
For PC gamers, Bethesda has also released the minimum and recommended specifications to ensure a smooth gaming experience. One noteworthy requirement is an SSD, along with a hefty 125 GB of available space. The minimum PC specifications include Windows 10 version 21H1, an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel Core i7-6800K processor, 16 GB of RAM, and either an AMD Radeon RX 5700 or NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti graphics card.
On the other hand, the recommended PC specifications include a newer Windows 10 or 11 with updates, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or Intel i5-10600K processor, 16 GB of RAM, and either an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card.
Console players will also be able to enjoy Starfield, although Bethesda has decided to limit the frame rate to 30 FPS on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. This decision was made to ensure consistency of performance across different console models.
