Rose Hanbury, the former model and wife of David Rocksavage, 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, has officially denied having an affair with Prince William, amidst ongoing conspiracy theories about his relationship with Kate Middleton. Hanbury’s lawyers have stated that all reports of improper relations between William and Hanbury are false.
Kensington Palace has refused to respond to questions about the nature of the relationship between William and Hanbury. The rumors of an affair between William and Hanbury first surfaced in 2019 but were never officially addressed by the palace.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton continues to recover from abdominal surgery and faces speculation about her whereabouts. Social media has been rampant with wild speculations about Kate’s condition and where she has been since December 25.
Hanbury’s family has a long history with the British royal family, with her son even serving as a Page of Honour for King Charles’ coronation. William and Kate were former neighbors with Hanbury and David, adding fuel to the rumors of an affair.
Royal expert Omid Scobie believes that the palace indirectly addressed the affair rumors by focusing on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s fallout with the palace. However, Hanbury finally denied the rumors in a statement released on March 18 through her lawyers.
Despite Hanbury’s denial, the speculation and gossip surrounding the alleged affair continue to circulate online, with many questioning the true nature of the relationship between William and Hanbury. As Kate Middleton remains out of the public eye, the rumors only seem to intensify, leaving many eager for any official statement from Kensington Palace.
