Rabbit Inc. Unveils Revolutionary Rabbit R1 Device
Rabbit Inc. CEO Jesse Lyu recently introduced the company’s first product, the Rabbit R1, describing it as a real-world equivalent to a Pokedex. This innovative device is equipped with a camera that can identify items such as plants and food, providing users with detailed information about them.
Despite its small size, the Rabbit R1 offers a wide range of features including calling an Uber, ordering food, translating conversations, playing music, and more. Running on a “large action model” software, the device aims to provide human-like interactions for a seamless user experience.
Utilizing visual search technology, the Rabbit R1 is capable of identifying objects in the environment similar to other devices like the Humane AI Pin and Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses. Initial impressions of the Rabbit R1 have been mixed, with some users expressing frustration over certain functionalities such as music playback.
While the device’s camera and visual analysis feature work effectively, some users have noted that it may not offer significantly different functionality compared to smartphones like Google Lens. Some minor issues like battery drain and standby mode difficulties have also been reported.
Despite these challenges, a full review of the Rabbit R1 will be provided after further testing. Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking new device from Rabbit Inc.
