Title: London Police Decline New Investigation into Prince Andrew Despite Explosive Epstein Case Documents
London’s Metropolitan Police have confirmed that they will not be launching any new investigations into Prince Andrew following the release of a 2016 deposition containing shocking allegations against him. The deposition was part of a trove of unsealed documents related to notorious financier Jeffrey Epstein’s case. Despite the gravity of the accusations, law enforcement officials are currently not pursuing further action.
One of the key testimonies in the deposition comes from Johanna Sjoberg, who claims that Prince Andrew groped her in 2001 when she was only 21 years old. The Buckingham Palace has consistently denied these allegations in the past. Sjoberg met Andrew at Epstein’s lavish residence in New York, accompanied by Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate of Epstein’s, and Virginia Giuffre, who settled a lawsuit against Prince Andrew in 2022.
The encounter took an eerie turn as Sjoberg initially couldn’t recognize the British royal. However, Maxwell promptly showed her a caricature puppet of Prince Andrew from a BBC show, which triggered her memory. Shockingly, a group photo also reveals Prince Andrew allegedly groping Sjoberg as Giuffre sits next to him, with the notorious puppet in hand.
Adding more weight to Sjoberg’s claims, the deposition transcripts of Maxwell confirm the existence of the puppet and also acknowledge Sjoberg’s description of the incident. However, London’s Metropolitan Police clarified that while they are not launching a full-scale investigation, they will assess any new substantial information that may emerge.
These allegations are not isolated. Virginia Giuffre, who has accused Prince Andrew of sexually assaulting her on three separate occasions when she was just 17, has provided photographic evidence to support her claims. Despite this, Prince Andrew has vehemently denied any wrongdoing and maintained no recollection of ever meeting Giuffre.
The CEO of anti-monarchy group Republic, Graham Smith, has reported Prince Andrew to the police, calling for a thorough criminal investigation into the allegations against him. Smith, along with many others, argues that the severity of the incidents, Maxwell’s conviction, Prince Andrew’s payment to Giuffre, and various other accusations from victims demand a comprehensive examination of these matters.
In light of the explosive Epstein case revelations, concerns continue to mount over Prince Andrew’s connections and possible involvement. While the Metropolitan Police have halted any new investigations for now, public scrutiny and calls for accountability persist. It remains to be seen whether additional evidence or pressure will prompt an in-depth criminal investigation into the allegations surrounding Prince Andrew, forcing him to answer for his actions.
